Childhood experiences (or traumatic events later in life) sculpt the subconscious perception of how the world works. These ideas become the blueprint we use to determine how to act or respond in the world to avoid pain or find love.

Once we become adults, we use our intellectual, thinking minds and understand that some of that information on the subconscious blueprint isn’t actually true, and is limiting us from being who we want to be and doing what we want to do. 

The problem is the blueprints are stored in the subconscious mind, and the thinking mind and the subconscious mind don't communicate easily.  So even though we KNOW we want to do things differently, we are still running off the blueprint. 

But there are ways we can access and communicate with the subconscious mind and clear out those blueprints and beliefs that we don’t want anymore.

A strong and resilient woman had healed from much of the abuse from her ex. But she still found herself constantly giving in to the demands of her narcissistic ex-partner when it came to their children. No matter how much she had worked on herself and let go of the hurtful things he had done and said in the past, she would still get worked up every time they had to communicate. It was a rollercoaster of emotions for her, enduring verbal abuse and often finding herself in tears after their conversations. She had already done so much healing, she couldn't imagine there was hope to heal any more.

But then, a glimmer of hope came when her doctor suggested she try IllumINNATE with me (Dr. Whelchel). She decided to take a chance and see if it could help her reclaim her power and set healthy boundaries. Little did she know, this decision would change her life. 

Through just one llumINNATE session, she was able to clear the blueprint and suddenly it was so much easier to stay firm in her boundaries, to dismiss hurtful words, and how to gracefully end those toxic phone calls. The transformation was incredible. She no longer allowed her ex's words to hurt her, and she stood tall in the face of his ridiculous requests. It was almost funny how he would try to push her buttons, but she could now laugh it off - literally!

A talented and ambitious professional held a high-ranking position in her company. She had always been a go-getter and took pride in her ability to get things done. However, as her responsibilities grew, she found herself overwhelmed with the constant demands of her employees. 

Every little question, every minor problem, she felt compelled to guide each employee to the solution or handle it herself. She became the ultimate hand-holder, responding to every inquiry and catering to every need. The dedication she had to her work was commendable, but it took a toll on her well-being. 

The stress levels began to skyrocket, affecting her health and even her precious sleep. It seemed like she was on call 24/7, and the guilt would eat away at her if she wasn't readily available for her team. She felt responsible for their success and feared letting them down.

Conquering Driving Anxiety and Embracing Life's Journey

A young adult had a lot of anxiety around one particular activity - driving alone. Every time they got behind the wheel, if they did not have very detailed directions on where to go and how to get there, their heart would race, their palms would sweat, and they would feel like they were on the verge of a panic attack. It was a distressing experience that made them feel trapped and limited. 

However, one day, they decided to try IllumINNATE to take control of their fears, they didn't know what else to do. It was the first step towards a transformative journey. 

During the program, they were able to link the fears back to being lost in a grocery store as a small child. They were able to clear the trauma from the past experience and heal the fear of the lost little child from the past. 

They started driving with more confidence and a newfound sense of trust in their abilities. The anxiety that once held them back was no longer a hindrance - it was simply gone. If they didn't know the exact way to go or had to take a detour, they were confident in pulling over to look up a map or call someone for directions - easy! 

And the transformation didn't stop there. Something shifted within them as they gained confidence in one area of their life. It was as if a curtain was lifted and they saw themselves more clearly. They no longer held back in social situations, and they even decided to travel overseas to participate in an exchange student program. It was a shift in their entire worldview. They discovered a resilience they never knew they had.

Frequently Asked Questions


How many IllumINNATE sessions do I need before I see changes?

Just one!  Occasionally more than one session is needed to clear a specific belief, but the vast majority of clients only need one to see they are reacting differently and can change habits easily.  Of course, you can always have more sessions if you want to work on other things.

What is an IllumINNATE session like?

We meet virtually, using Zoom.  We will do a brief grounding/calming exercise, then I will ask you what you are struggling with in your present or past life that you would like to work on.  I will then guide you in some different techniques to identify an area of your body where the beliefs are stored, what event was pivotal in creating them.  .  Next, I guide you through verbal and imaginative exercises that help clear the emotional charge and release what is no longer serving you. It usually takes about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes to complete the process. 

What if IllumINNATE doesn’t work for me???

Hey friend, don’t worry.  While IllumINNATE works for probably 95% of people, if it doesn’t work for you, that’s ok.  I got you.  A week or so after your session, if you don’t feel like anything has changed, I will ask you if you would like a full refund, OR if you would like to try again at a later date (I’ll give you my opinion if I think it won’t work if we try again), and if you still don’t see a change, I will refund you half of what you paid.  The things you can do to help it work is to be relaxed and open it it working.  And also, once the emotional charge or immediate reaction to situations is lessened, be willing to change your habitual responses. If you were in the past really emotionally triggered to anger as defense, but then removed the emotional trigger, once you have less or no emotional trigger, where you feel you can respond calmly, you still have to be willing to respond calmly – it should be way easier to do so, but it is still a choice.

What if I can’t do it right?

Good news! There’s no way to do it right – every way is right. Anything, no matter how outlandish you do or say is right.  That’s the fun, free wisdom of the subconcious! I’m a recovering overachiever and perfectionist.  The secret to getting this (easily) to work for me was accepting that anything that came up, that I felt in my body or “heard” in my head, would lead me to what I was seeking – healing on a deeper level, no matter how much my logical brain said, “that’s stupid” or “that can’t be it.” Arrive with an open mind, with the willingness to get on the ride and see where it goes.  I’ll direct you through it, don’t worry.

Will it be emotionally painful to process the trauma and emotions?

For most people a significant event comes up as the one to process, and though it is briefly emotional, the process of recalling the event lasts only minutes, and then the healing begins.  Tears are sometimes shed during a session, occasionally from sadness or hurt, but most often when releasing the belief system and the emotional charge.  Clients are usually uplifted (though a bit tired) after the session

What if there is an event I don't want to have to think about and process?

Luckily, all of the events that led to a belief system are connected - the difficult ones and the easier ones, so if there is a significant event or trauma that you do not want to process, we can ask your subconscious for a different connected event and process that.  Once one of the events is connected, the other ones release as well, like a chain reaction or a line of falling dominos.
